Mere Jelly at Visit Hillbrush. 9am – 2pm

The Mere Jelly takes place on the last Tuesday of every month, at 9.am – 2.pm. This is a casual co-working event, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9th at 3.30pm ‘LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING’ Enjoy a romantic afternoon with the Gillingham Top Brass and Wind Concert Band Plus guests Kiera Batchelor singing, also Mike, Steve and Vicky who will keep you in the mood with their choice of songs. The band music for the concert is being carefully produced with thanks to Jackie Adams, band leader and conductor, who has played to packed audiences recently with the concerts in Gillingham. One Boat, Five Guys, 3,000 Miles

In mid-December 2018 Will Theakston and four friends completed the challenge of their lives. Rowing non-stop across the Atlantic from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua. Boats were completely self-supported, the punishing routine allowing for 2 hours on and 2 hours off. Will will be sharing his experience on Friday 20th March 2020 at St Michael’s Church, the talk starts at 7pm doors open at 6.15pm Tickets: £12.00 per person or £6.00 for Friends of Mere Literary Festival.
