Mere Jelly at Visit Hillbrush. 9am – 2pm

The Mere Jelly takes place on the last Tuesday of every month, at 9.am – 2.pm. This is a casual co-working event, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.

An afternoon of music, a BBQ supplied The Walnut Tree, lots of lovely stalls, and loads of things for children to do.

St Michael’s Harvest Festival

Celebrate Harvest Festival, with a Songs of Praise service at 10.30 AM followed by a Ploughmans lunch in the Grove Building costing £5. Children are welcome to do a drawing of a Scarecrow to be exhibited in the Church and win a sticky lolly. During the Service the community are encouraged to bring contributions for the Warminster Food Bank for the less fortunate both in Mere and surrounding villages. Tins, packets or boxes of vegetables, meats, fish, soup, UHT milk, cereals, jams, teabags, coffee and maybe a treat or two would be appreciated. If you wish to contribute but are unable to attend the service, please leave your food parcel in the Still Chapel that is on the left of the altar. All contributions are very gratefully received. If you want to attend the Ploughmans Lunch please contact Lindy Elliott on 01747 861646.

Wreath workshop at Sprout & Flower

This workshop will guide you through making a big & sumptious Christmas wreath for your wall or door. You will be using lots of natural foliages, most of which will have been responsibly foraged and sourced locally. Herbs, dried seed heads, berries and dried hydrangea heads will add festive colour and texture to your wreath made on a mossed frame. Spaces are limited so booking is essential. £60 per person.
