What’s a Jelly all about then?
Jelly is a casual co-working event, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment. Jelly is a mixture of work, chat, comparing ideas, passing on tips and help.
(Jelly differs from networking in that the aim is not to find new clients, pitch your business or to sell).
So is there a Jelly in Mere?
There certainly is! The Mere Jelly takes place on the last Tuesday of every month, at 9.am – 2.pm so please come along and join us. Our Jelly is a valuable opportunity to find out more about each other’s line of work and how we operate – simply by chatting over our laptops whilst working.
You don’t have to spend the whole morning at the Jelly, this is a casual event so there’s no expectation to turn up at the start time and stay till the end.
Where is the Mere Jelly held?
Visit Hillbrush are our very kind hosts. The cafe is just a two minute drive from the A303 Mere and Stourhead exit. Tea and coffee is available to buy throughout the morning and lunch is available too (although depending on numbers, this might need to be booked in advance). There is free parking as well as electric car charging points.
